The picture of Uncle Nick (that’s what I always called him even though he wasn’t my uncle) sitting in the boat puffing on his stogie is one I will never forget. When I hooked my first big pike and Tom said it’s like a log Uncle Nick thought he said he hooked a log and we all had a good laugh about that later. We had many good memories at Otter Lake and I always enjoyed his friendly demeanor at the natatorium when I would be there working out. He would always come up to me or I would come up to him and he had a hug and a smile and always some interesting conversation of course!
Nick, you are missed. Gregg Heidy

Although during too few occasions, I always enjoyed conversations with Nick and Connie about anything and everything. Very sorry to hear about Nick. David D'Agostino

I was one of many friends of Nick at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium. He always had a smile on his face and friendly words. Such a kind soul...wish I had known him better.
My condolences to his family.
