Obituary of Violet M. Micale
Our beloved mother, Violet M. Micale, 91, of Stow-Munroe Falls, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2021.
Born and raised in Akron, Violet was a loving and devoted mother and had an unfaltering faith in God. She was skillful in painting and crafts, an avid piano player, and did Zumba up until she was 85. She had a zest for life, always had a positive attitude about everyone and everything, and you could never leave her home without eating a good meal. Her family will miss her dearly. Violet was a member of many activities at Holy Family Church throughout her adult life, including Hosanna People and the church choir.
Preceded in death by her husband Anthony, sons Michael and Marty, grandchild Christopher, she is survived by sons, Matt (Jean) and Mark (Mary); daughters Marcia Case (Dennis Neal), Monica Micale, Michele Hannan (Russ), Marisa Mancino (Sam) and Margaret Canzonetta (Don); grandchildren, Anthony Micale, Joseph Micale, Angela Micale, Michele Neal, Gina Canzonetta, Martina Canzonetta, Ryan Case, Justin Case, Matthew Case, Leah Stineman, Martin Micale, Jr., Mario Micale, Jacob Micale, Natalie Micale, Nicole Micale, 16+ great-grandchildren, and sister Patricia Caccamo. A special thank you to her wonderful caregivers Ashley, Samantha, Cheryll and Colleen.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be on Saturday at 10:30 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, Fr. Andy Gonzalez celebrant. Friends may call Friday 6 to 8 PM at Redmon Funeral Home and Saturday at Holy Family from 9:30 AM until time of Mass. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery.
