Obituary of Diane P. Reuther

Because of her faith in Jesus Christ, Diane Reuther, age 60, entered her heavenly home on May 11th, 2021. Born on January 9, 1961 in Cadillac, Michigan. She graduated from Pine River High School in 1979, North Park College in 1984, and Faith Bible Seminary in 2020. After a few years of living in New Haven, Indiana, she lived most of her life in Silver Lake, Ohio. Her heart belonged to her Savior and her family. She served as a Sunday School teacher and Bible study teacher for many age groups, but her favorite age group was 5th grade. She also discipled and mentored many women to grow in their faith in Jesus Christ. She homeschooled her four children with love, care, and creativity. She died very proud of her children and their hearts to love and serve others. She loved ballroom dancing with her husband as well as taking long hikes any time of the year, anywhere he wanted to go. With the Apostle Paul, Diane can testify, "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" (II Timothy 4:7). She was preceded in death by her father, Mike Flint of Cadillac, Michigan and sister, Beverly Caudill of Anchorage, AK and survived by her mother, Arlene (Olson) Flint, brother, Michael Flint of Manton, Michigan, sister Delores (Flint) Peterson of Cadillac, Michigan, and sister, Linda (Flint) Sawade of Cedar Springs, Michigan. She is also survived by her husband, Karl Reuther, II, her children, Katelyn, Zachary, Nicholas (Nui), and Elaina Reuther of Silver Lake, Ohio. Friends are invited to calling hours from 5-8 pm on Friday, May 28th, at Redmon Funeral Home (3633 Darrow Rd. Stow, Ohio 44224). Funeral will be held on Saturday, May 29th, at 10 am at Grace Baptist Church (5915 Rhodes Road Kent, Ohio 44240).
