Obituary of Charles Roy Bennett

It is with great sadness that the family of Chuck Bennett announces his passing on May 27, 2021. He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 18 years, Tina and his son Alex. Born in Ravenna on August 13, 1966, he was a resident of Stow since 2002. He was a member of St. Augustine Church. Chuck enjoyed coaching his son Alex’s baseball team along with fishing and hiking. Preceded in death by his mother Jean Bennett and survived by his father Chuck T. Bennett; sister Margie (John) Yates; brother Boo Bennett; nieces and nephews; Corbin, Cody, Justine, Sierra, Jake, Tanner and Tucker. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, OH 44224. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Augustine Church, 204 6th St. NW, Barberton, OH 44203, Fr. Bill Browne celebrant. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron after the service. Food and refreshments will be provided following the burial at SYB Hall, 4157 Hudson Drive, Stow OH 44224 for all who would like to engage in fellowship to remember Chuck. Some of you have reached out and asked how you can help us during this time. Know that your kindness is much appreciated as we navigate this heartbreaking moment. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help with medical expenses.
