Obituary of Ann M. Meyer-Steinheiser
CUYAHOGA FALLS - Ann M. Meyer-Steinheiser, 72, died June 1, 2021.
Born in West Point, NY, she was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls since 2005. Annie had been a professional actress and singer most of her life, she traveled and sang across the United States in her early years and continued her singing career in the Church in 1982 forming choirs and singing on the theater stage. Annie was also a sought-after actress in her local community. She was a member of River of Life Community Church, formerly Western Reserve Community Church of Hudson, OH for 20 years where she often helped in the Children’s ministry of the church and enjoyed being a part of the worship team. Annie loved the Lord and enjoyed sharing her faith and studying the Bible with friends and helping women through grief and loss, which resulted in her starting the first chapter of the “Bible Babes” in Stow, OH in 2003 and now has a group of ladies in Tennessee that meet as well. She enjoyed giving singing and guitar lessons, Community Theater, she was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Concerned Veterans for America.
Preceded in death by husband, James W. Steinheiser; parents, Lt. Gen. Richard D. Meyer and Gertrude Breault; brothers, John and Jude Meyer; she is survived by her sons, John J. (Marissa) Steinheiser, Thomas C. (Amanda) Steinheiser, II, Patrick D. Steinheiser, and Laura (Chris) Wise-Webb; grandchildren, Kira, Kayden, Julian, Aubree; sisters; Betsy (Jim Van Fleet) Glassie, Katie (Donald) Chamberlain; brother, Fred Meyer; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church members whom she considered her family.
Pastor Joe Daltorio will conduct service 11 AM Saturday and calling hours to visit with the family will be held at 10 AM at River of Life Community Church, 5649 Stow Road, Hudson, OH 44236.
