Obituary of Helen Eileen McDaniel

STOW - Helen E. McDaniel, 84, died August 2, 2021. Born in Muskingum County, OH, she was a resident of Stow since 1962. Helen had been employed with Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools as an educational assistant, retiring in 2000. She was a member of Holy Family Parish. Helen enjoyed spending time in Florida, where she was a member of the Resurrection Choir and the Bear Makers Club. Preceded in death by daughter, Nancy McDaniel; sisters, Norma Boykin, Betty McCrary; brother, Richard Downing; she is survived by her husband of 64 years, Gene McDaniel; daughters, Diana McDaniel, Beth (David) Lombard; son, Mark McDaniel; granddaughter, Samantha Lombard; brothers, Russell and Ronald Downing. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, August 9 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow. Friends may call from 10:00 AM to service time. Interment Silver Springs Cemetery. The service will be live streamed 11:00 AM Monday at https://www.holyfamilystow.org.
