Obituary of Nada F. Martin
STOW - Nada F. Martin, 90, of Stow, OH passed away on September 25, 2021.
Born in Jerusalem, OH. Nada was a long time resident of Stow and was a member of the Church in the Falls since 1954.
Nada was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dean, her daughter, Nancy S. Beckwith, her parents, Joseph and Hazel Hipkins; and her siblings, Joseph Hipkins, Loretta Martin, Mack, and Edwin Vanaman.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Beth Hopkins of Johnson City, TN and Kathryn L. (Todd) Fritzsche of Stow, OH; her grandchildren, Amy E. Koneval, Joseph M. (Katey) Recktenwald, Richard D. Hopkins, and Catherine A. Hopkins; her great grandsons, Cole D. Koneval and Joseph T. “JT” Recktenwald; and many nieces and nephews.
Nada loved spending time with her family. When she was not with her family, she took pleasure in the simple things in life: reading, doing word puzzles, her favorite shows, cross-stitching, flowers, nice weather and desserts.
A small graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to Midwestern Children’s Home, P.O. Box 48, Pleasant Plain, OH 45162-9987.
