Obituary of Barbara E. Minchin

VENICE, FL - Barbara E. Minchin, 87, born February 27, 1934, passed peacefully in her home on October 19, 2021, with family at her side. Barbara was raised in Akron, was a 1952 graduate of North High School before attending a 2-year degree business college. She was a former 40+ year resident of Stow before moving to Venice, Florida in 2018. Barbara had been employed with Atlas Steel Products Company as an administrative assistant for 25 years, retiring in 2017. She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church of Akron, Ohio. Barbara enjoyed singing in the choir, attending live theater, and spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Paul Frampton and Anna May Frampton, (nee Grant). She is survived by her daughters, Terri Ellen Morris, (nee Minchin), Tracey Lynn (Jim) Stoff, (nee Minchin); grandchildren, Scott Morris, Grant (Amber) Morris, Matthew (Melanie) Minchin, Grayson (Alyssa) Stoff, Harrison Stoff, sister, Marilyn (Gordon) Shilling; great grandchildren, Emma Morris, Hudson, and Holly Minchin; nieces, Barbara (Mark) Blake, David (Michele) Shilling, Heather (David) Ross, and many great nieces and nephews. Service will be held 1 PM Friday at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow. Friends may call 7 - 9 PM Thursday.
