Obituary of Harvey Alexander de Witte

Harvey Alexander de Witte was born sleeping on October 26, 2021, at Summa Hospital in Akron, Ohio. He weighed 7 lbs., 8 oz., and was 18 inches long. He was born of Dutch and American parentage. Harvey held on to his papa’s finger during a long period of resuscitation. He was then baptized and snuggled closely with his mama. Harvey spent two days being held, sang to, and loved by family and friends. Harvey Alexander was the beloved first born son of Wilhelmus (Pim) and Rachel de Witte. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Martinus (Wim) de Witte and Annemijn van Reijendam; maternal grandparents, Ed and Elaine McMullen; paternal great-grandmother, Jacoba Maria Neurdenburg; aunts and uncles, Martijn and Angelique de Witte, Ilja and Rob Smit, Raymond de Witte, Coen de Witte, Neal and Missy Hurst, Sarah and Jason Kuznicki, Allyson and Darrell Yoder; cousins, Xander, Thijmen, Reza, Fabian, Niels, Neal IV, Ethan, Kennedy, Cole, Claire, Connor, Darrell IV, Emmet, Eliza; and many other relatives and friends. “Harvey Alexander, you are so cherished, deeply loved, and forever with us.” Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Redemption Chapel, 3900 Kent Road, Stow, OH 44224.
