I was fortunate to meet Henry many years ago when he was an interpreter in my kindergarten class in Kent. His infectious smile, caring heart and ubiquitous laughter made him loved by all. Henry's outgoing positive personality and energetic passion in life were contagious. He even made waiting tables together at Blossom fun. Although Earth just lost an angel, heaven just acquired a truly spirited, amazing one!

Dear Cindy, Chris, Patrick, Kimmi, Renee, and Katie: I was so very sorry to learn today of Henry's passing. He was such a wonderful, welcoming, energetic, and fun person, and I feel privileged to have known him and worked alongside him for those three years in ETC. Clearly he touched so many people's lives, and I know how much he treasured each of you and your entire family. Thank you for sharing him with all of us. I send my deepest, heartfelt sympathy and hope that you can find peace little by little in the months to come. Sincerely, Kim (Nettling) Yoak

Henry,
You were an original and you can never be replaced. Not only were you a great Dad, but you were the best Step-Dad to my children that I could have wished for and you were also my friend.

Henry,
You were taken from us too soon and this world is a little dimmer now that you're gone, but Heaven has become a little brighter with your arrival.
From both of us, we say goodbye. You will be missed.

Ever since I joined the exercise class at the Shaw, I joined Henry's Family. Noone was a stranger to Henry. He welcomed each of us with a heart felt "hello" and a warming smile that accompanied his greeting.
Henry took time to answer every question presented to him. He had a way of making each of us feel special. That's why He was so special.
We were both East High School Alums. He graduated with my sister. When I told her I met him, she was excited. From then until now, I was their messenger to each other.
Sincere condolences and love to the family. Henry will be greatly missed by all.

My prayers go out to Henry's family. I was so blessed to have met him after joining the exercise class at Shaw. His humor was legendary and I'm so saddened by his loss. He will definitely be missed by me. I'm so glad that I got a chance to take a picture of his Silver Sneakers in class. He's already missed.

Cindy and family, please accept my condolences and know that you are in my heart and prayers. Henry helped keep me sane in those terrible years we spent in the repair center. His down-to-earth perspective and humor made it a little more tolerable.

Shaw JCC of Akron posted a condolence
Wednesday, November 17, 2021
Henry was an undeniable shining light at the JCC. His zest for life was infectious to anyone that stepped foot in the building.
Henry worked for the JCC for the past 11 years, as a Membership Associate and Silver Sneakers instructor. Henry embodied the JCC's mission of providing a warm and welcoming community for all.
Henry always had a grin on his face and playful antics up his sleeve, immediately followed by his infectious laugh. He was loved by all, especially his little friends at the ECE (he knew them all by name!) and those who attended his Silver Sneakers classes at the JCC. Henry enjoyed life, his family members, and his many friends. He was always there to brighten the lives of others.
Henry was truly a one-of-a-kind person and will never be forgotten. The JCC would not be what it is today without him. We keep Henry's family and friends in our thoughts as they celebrate his remarkable life.
~ From His Friends at the Shaw JCC

Prayers to the Zuchengo family. We got to know Henry while our daughter was in ETC. He will be remembered as a kind and caring person who always had a smile on his face. Some of my best times with Henry were parking cars at Firestone CC.
May he rest in peace!
