Obituary of Helen E. Dietz

STOW - Helen E. Dietz, age 101, went home to be with the Lord December 9, 2021. She was a member of Stow Alliance Fellowship where she served as Office Volunteer, Vice-Chairman of Prime Timers, Secretary to Alliance Women for 26 years, and served on the Deaconess Board. She was retired with 29 years' service as Secretary to the Manager of the Classified Advertising Department of the Akron Beacon Journal. Preceded in death by husband, Everett (Bud), she is survived by her sons, Patrick (Linda) and Michael; niece, Gloria Dawson; sister, Mary Ann Correia; grandchildren, Amy (Adam) Barton and Andy (Jen); great-grandchildren, Lydia Joy, Marlee, and Zachary; several nieces and nephews, and many friends. Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, for visitation Friday from 1-3 and 6-8 PM. (PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN VISITATION TIMES.) Rev. Arnold Fleagle will conduct service Saturday 11 AM at Stow Alliance Fellowship, 4460 Stow Road, Stow. Burial Greenlawn Memorial Park.
