Obituary of Timothy Ieaun Price
GAHANNA - Timothy "Tim" Ieaun Price, 43, went home to be with the Lord on December 7, 2021.
Born at Akron's St. Thomas Hospital on October 6, 1978, Tim grew up in Stow as the twin of a sister and the youngest of 3 brothers. After graduating from the University of Akron with a bachelor's degree in 2001, Tim's career path led him to reside in several locations throughout his life. He had called the Cleveland, Chicago, and Columbus metropolitan areas home.
An avid sports fan, Tim played high school football and ardently rooted for and represented "The LAND." After high school, his interest in various sports, including football, racing, and basketball, continued. Baseball was a game of numbers that most interested the always analytical Finance Major. Tim's other passions included investing, cooking, craft beer, many varieties of music, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Those who knew Tim best recognized him as the most generous, empathetic, and genuine of his siblings. There were times in life when Tim sacrificed greatly; taking extended time off work and school to provide emotional and financial support for those in need.
Preceded in death by father, David Carl Price, he is survived by his mother, Sonia Price-Sergent; brothers, Chris Price, Matt (Jill) Price; sister, Kate (Christian) Price-Segedy; nieces, and nephews, Madison, Trevor, Sophia, David A. Price, and Lucian Segedy.
Tim is still one of the three Price brothers, "all for one and one for all!" He was also a friend, a co-worker, a son, a grandson, a brother-in-law, and an uncle. We will miss you, "brother," with all our hearts. Rest in peace.
