Obituary of Kenneth E. Mohr
STOW - Kenneth E. Mohr, 79, died December 22, 2021.
Born in Canton, he was a resident of Stow since 1968, and a U.S. Navy veteran, enlisting in 1964 and retiring as a BT Chief in 1990. Ken was a 1960 graduate of Central Catholic High School and started his own business with his wife, Fay, in 1970, retiring in 2009. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Stow. Ken loved spending time with his family, especially at their lake house at Berlin Reservoir, and riding his wave runner. He was an avid golfer, card player, and bowler, having once bowled a 288 and an 813 series.
Preceded in death by parents, Eugene and Catherine Mohr, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Fay Mohr (Young); sons, Kevin (Jennifer) Mohr, Todd (Jennifer) Mohr; six grandchildren; sister, Kay (Richard) Quinn, sister, Ruthanne (Chuck) Bast, brother, Ray (Joyce) Mohr, sister, Carolyn (Dave) Dolan, and many nieces and nephews.
Pastor Karen Drotar will conduct service Friday 11 AM at the United Methodist Church in Stow, 4880 Fishcreek Road, Stow, where friends may call Thursday from 4 to 7 PM and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Masks are required. Burial Henry Warstler Cemetery in Canton at 1:30 PM.
