Obituary of Paul E. Shope, Jr.

MUNROE FALLS - Paul E. Shope, Jr., 77, died January 25, 2022. Born in Orange, CA, Paul was a resident of Munroe Falls since 2001. He was a devoted family man and a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. Paul had a long career with Great Lakes Power Products, retiring in 2010, and in recent years, was employed with RCG Tax Partners. Throughout his life, he enjoyed scuba diving, boating, motorcycles, and target shooting. Paul had a kind heart and lived his life with faith and integrity. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We take comfort in knowing his spirit is with Jesus and shining brighter than ever. Preceded in death by parents, Eva and Paul E. Shope, Sr., he is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Shope; children, Jennifer Shope and Paul M. Shope; grandchildren, Cameron, Ben, and Ella; sister, Shirley (Joe) Muffet; brother, Tom Shope (Julie Jester). Friends may call Sunday, February 6 from 2 to 5 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224. A prayer service will follow at 5 PM.
