Obituary of Janice Louise Mills
Janice Louise Mills, formerly of Munroe Falls, Ohio, passed away March 6, 2022. She was born on February 29, 1936, to the late Elmer and Lillian Mersing of Crellin, Maryland.
Janice left her home at 18 years old and went on a journey with her husband, Marvin, that lasted more than 67 years. While her life was dedicated to Marvin and her five children, she lived and loved with extraordinary grace and beauty. She spent many years working alongside her husband at Mills Decorating Center where she met many lifelong friends. Janice, or Mimi, as her grandkids knew her, cherished her grandchildren, and enjoyed watching them grow.
Janice was preceded in death by her siblings Alvin, Susan, and Stanley and her beloved, son Randy.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Marvin Mills, her sons, Douglas Mills of Atlanta, Michael Mills (Stacey Depp) of Copley, Stephen Mills of Columbus, and daughter, Julie (Don) Cooper of Cuyahoga Falls. Grandchildren, Randy Mills, Sydney Mills, Christopher Mills, Brian Cooper, Madison Mills, Jared Mills, John Mills, and Lillian Cooper, and great-granddaughter, Rose Mills. Her brother, Keith Mersing (Julianne) of Clarksville, TN, brother-in-law, John Mills (Michelle), sister-in-law, Irene Mersing of Oakland, MD, Aunt Caroline Pase of Dahlonega, GA, daughter-in-law, Ramona Ayers (Don), and their children, Miranda Bielek and Tristan Ayers, and many dear cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022, from 4 PM until 7 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road Stow, OH 44224.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM, Friday March 11, 2022, at First Christian Church, 3493 Darrow Road, Stow, OH 44224. Burial Stow Cemetery.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made in Janice’s name to First Christian Church in Stow.
