Obituary of Corinne S. Cook
Corinne Sue Cook, 76, of Silver Lake passed on April 14, 2010 after a courageous battle with Severe Asthma.
Born on February 14, 1934 in Quincy, Mass., daughter of the late Charles
and Helen Harrington of .Rittman, Ohio, Corinne Cook was employed by Alltel in Hudson
for 21 years and was a member of St. John/St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Wilbur Cook.
She leaves her cherished family, daughters, Leslie Cook of Akron, Diane Woods of
Silver Lake, and Son, Gregg Cook of Medina (Jodi) and five grandchildren: Abby, Brighid, Ryan, Christopher, and Kylie.
Corinne's greatest love was family get togethers whether it was traveling to Williamsburg,
Cocoa Beach, or just having cookouts for special occasions. She was an avid gardener and knitted many items for family and friends.
Her family would like to send a special thank you out to Dr. Kretchmer and his staff, Briarwood Nursing Home staff, and Becky from Hospice for the dedicated care of Corinne.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held in lieu of
calling hours. The memorial service will be at Redmon Funeral Home with Lisa Arledge officiating on Saturday, April 17th at 3 pm.
