Obituary of John P. Conrad

TALLMADGE- John P. Conrad, 82, formerly of Stow, died March 27, 2010.   Born in Chest Springs, PA, he was a Penn State University graduate, a US Navy veteran of World War II and a Tallmadge resident for 18 years.  Mr. Conrad had retired as an accountant from the Westhall Company and was a member of Our Lady of Victory Parish.  His faith, spending time at the gym and being outdoors all brought John happiness.   Preceded in death by his son John, Jr.,  he is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna Mae; daughter Michele (Richard) Sprungle; sons Douglas (Liane), Mark, Todd (Jackie), Christopher, Jeffrey and Joel (Megan) Conrad; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.   Friends may call Tuesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Redmon Funeral Home.  Mass of the Christian Burial Wednesday 10 AM at Our Lady of Victory, where John’s grandson who held a special place in his heart, Fr. Michael McCandless, will be concelebrating with Fr.
