Obituary of Erma D. Swartzwelder
BRIMFIELD- Erma D. Swartzwelder, 74, formerly of Munroe Falls and Cuyahoga Falls, went home to be with her Lord on January 18, 2010.
Born in Shade Twp., PA, she was an area resident over 50 years. She was a devoted Christian who loved spending time with her family and sharing her story with friends and neighbors. She had a giving heart and considered it her privilege to help others. She will be sadly missed by many.
Preceded in death by her husband Clarence in 1990, parents Lester and Effie (Manges) Crissey, sisters Shirley Jones and Sandra Arlene Phipps, brothers Kenneth, Russell and Richard Crissey, and brother-in-law Robert Jones. She is survived by her children Cathy L. Conlon, Mark L. Swartzwelder and Lynn R. (Donnie) Benton; grandchildren Jacob Swartzwelder; Ashley and Parker Benton. Sisters Evelyn (Jim) Barnes and Judy (Steve) Kangas; brothers Robert (Judy) Crissey and Eddie (Norma) Crissey; sisters-in-law Sue, Betty and Debbie Crissey; brother-in-law David Phipps and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may call Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Saturday 11 AM. Private burial will be held.
