Obituary of Edith Moore
STOW – Edith Gay Moore, 77 went home to be with the Lord January 17, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Morgan Hollow, WV, she was the daughter of Bob Fox and Mary Davis. She was a homemaker, loving wife and mother and had worked hard all her life helping her husband build the house they lived in from the ground up. She loved to crochet and travel and was a member of the Brady Lake Baptist Church and sang in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother John Fox and son-in-law Eugene Thompson. She is survived by husband Russell, daugther Mary Ann (Brian) Zimmerman, brother Bob (Genevia) Fox, grandson Ken (Sharon) Thompson, and great-grandson Dylan Thompson and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Redmon Funeral Home Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM, Thursday from 10 AM until service time, and where Rev. Virgil Elkins will conduct service Thursday 11 AM. Interment Rose Hill Burial Park. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron, OH 44333.
