Obituary of Zee Moscarillo
STOW- Zee Moscarillo, 83, passed away on January 3, 2010.
Born in Medina, she was a lifetime area resident. She retired from Summit County after 30 years of service as executive secretary to the Environmental Engineers and had previously served as executive secretary to County Commissioner Ted Cole and William Zekan of the A. Schulman Co. For 40 years she served as a presiding judge over Democratic party elections and recently served as regent for the David Hudson Chapter of the DAR. During WWII she was an air raid warden and had been active with the USO. She loved to sing and was member of St. Sebastian’s choir and a member of the Red Hat Ladies of Silver Lake Towers visiting area nursing & retirement homes. Zee dearly loved her grand children was actively involved in their lives.
Preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Robert in 2001, she is survived by her children Donna (Gil) Kelley of San Diego, CA; Roxanne (Ranndy) Kellogg of McHenry, IL and children Erica, Chris, and Nick Kellogg; Marc (Jeanne) Moscarillo of Hudson and children Alison, Morgan and Carmen Moscarillo; Mary (Gene) Kallmeyer of Stow and children Dan Altieri, Tucker and Josh Kallmeyer; sisters Joyce Zapola of Brook Park and Sandy (Jim) Blataric of Santa Ana, CA; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Reverend Brian Suntken will conduct service Friday 11 AM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and Friday from 10 AM until service time. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron 44333.
