We all had some turbulent times as teenagers. My best recollections of George are from high school. When many of our classmates got angry with me in our freshman year, it was George who was always compassionate and understanding. His parents wouldn't allow him to play sports, so George was an honorary member of the football squad. When we had some bad game results, George would be the only one to acknowledge our individual performances. When others were hanging their head it was George who always had encouragement for the players.

Barbara:
Our great sorrow and deepest sympathies to you and your families. George was a great friend and best "buddy. " We spent our youth together and learned life-lessons from each other. Our love of sports, especially golf, Scouting, automobiles, hard work, kindness and respect were all aspects of that early life that made George a great and humble man.
He will be missed. God bless each of you.

Dear Barb, I was saddened to hear of the passing of George. I would see him occasionally at work, or in the gym and would ask how you were. May God's blessings be with you family!

So sorry to hear of George's passing. He was a good man. A
bad golfer and softball player, but a very good family man. He's
in a much better place now and for that we can all be thankful.

George has been an important part of our Trinity family. Seeing him and the Porosky Family go through the last 11 years has been a true inspiration. I'll always remember the usually solemn George passing the collection plate and telling each person, "Thank you."

We are so very sorry to learn of your loss.
After moving to SC, I was on my dock when to my surprise he was visiting someone who lived on the lake and he recognized me. Hadn't seen him for about 30 years. He came up to the house and we had a wonderful.
With deepest sympathy.
