Obituary of Douglas E. Bedore

CUYAHOGA FALLS – Douglas (Doug) Edward Bedore, 74, passed away July 26, 2015. He was born June 18, 1941 in Chicago, IL, to Robert and Marion Bedore. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Xavier University and spent his professional career as the owner of a land surveying company. Doug deeply loved his family. One of his greatest joys in life was fishing on Sparrow Lake in Canada. He was also known as a gentle giant with a ready smile and a quick wit. Preceded in death by his parents, Doug is survived by his children Michele “Mici” (Carter) Killion of Fort Mill, SC, and Brett Bedore of Portland, OR. He is also survived by grandchildren, Mallory and Andrew Killion of Fort Mill. The oldest of 11, he is survived by 10 siblings and their families. A remembrance gathering will be conducted at the Redmon Funeral Home in Stow Saturday August 1 at 4 pm and where friends may call Saturday from 3 pm until remembrance time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charitable organization of your choice.
