Obituary of Louis George Bianco
Dr. Louis G. Bianco, 66, passed away January 24, 2016 after a courageous, lengthy struggle with Parkinson’s Disease.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Vincent Bianco; his sister, Carol; his son, Luigi; and his wife of 22 years, Sharon. He leaves behind his daughter, Eva Pasqualini; grandchildren, Peter, Gavin and Natalie; and many friends who enjoyed his wit and story-telling.
Lou served as a First Lt. in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He received his B.A. in Mathematics at Bradley University and completed his M.A. and PhD. In Mathematics at Boston University. He taught, as a full professor, and retired from University of Massachusetts. Lou had many fond memories of the students that he taught and still heard from many of them after he retired. He enjoyed playing chess, watching sports and occasional trips to the casino.
Cremation has taken place and private interment with full military honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
