Dear family members of Carol, We are saddened to hear of Carol's passing. She had a difficult time in recent months. We saw her last at the KSU Memorial Service for Peter at the Speech and Hearing Clinic, and visited briefly after that, bringing pictures of the event, which she appreciated. Subsequent to that time, we spoke once or twice, and Carol was content to have that communication. We met Carol's brother, Richard, a few years ago when furniture was being moved from the Kent condo to the Stow residence. We have fond memories of Peter and Carol's hospitality for the department in hosting faculty events. One special memory is of Carol's talent in creating baskets for the nursing staff when Rich had surgery in 2005. She was very generous to us, in creating them and in delivering them to the hospital. When Peter had surgery at the Cleveland Clinic we stayed with Carol at the Doubletree, and appreciated her devotion to Peter. She wrote beautiful messages to us on lovely cards. We know she is in God's hands. Our sympathy and condolences go out to you. Sincerely, Rich and Joanne Klich
