Dave and family,
My sincere and deepest sympathy to you and your boys. I was so shocked to hear of Karen's quick passing. I got the message but I had my own problems and couldn't make it to the service. We lost my Dad recently as well as 2 aunts. It's been a real hard time for our family as well. My heart goes out to you, may God comfort you all at this time and as you go on. I will always remember that beautiful smile Karen shared with everyone and cherish all our fun memories on and off the softball field.
There are these special people we meet along this journey and Karen certainly was one of those. Find comfort in your memories and know that she would want you to be happy and carry on.
I'll keep you all in my prayers.

I am so saddened by Karen's passing. Although it has been many, many years, I can remember our times together like it was yesterday. Karen's beautiful smile, the mischief in her eyes, her witty sense of humor and the way she welcomed everyone who was in her home, family picnic, etc. The video once again showed what an amazing woman she was, one who loved life, her family and how much she was loved. I am very sorry for you loss and will keep you and yours in my thoughts and prayers.

My heartfelt condolences (& my family's) go out to the entire Powers family (& the Buschko family). Karen and her passion for the education of children and for the city of Stow will definitely be missed. I will always remember Karen and the time we spent working on behalf of children, in PTA (when she was council president). I know that you will keep her in your hearts and I am sure that she will always be watching over you.

Dear Zach and family,
I couldn't believe when Luke told me of your Mom's passing. I wish we would have made the cookout happen that she and I talked about the night we celebrated you and Luke's graduation night. I remember having so much fun with her and she made me go out on the dance floor with her at Barley House :). My heart truly aches for all of you and I hope you can find some comfort knowing so many of us care about you all at this extremely difficult time. I'll always remember her kindness and smile that night, we had so much fun.
I'm so sorry I cannot be at the calling hours on Wednesday, I am in Chicago for business. I am with you all in spirit and pray you find strength and peace in time.
Hope to see you soon! Love and hugs, Tammy & Doug Lehar and Family
