My deepest sympathies to Frank, Chris, Theresa, Jackie, Scott and their families.
The world has lost an incredible human being this week and will not be as bright from this point forward.
I am saddened by her death; however, her life and love of it, radiated in her. I have known her and her children since the 70's, and first met her in her home on Oxford Avenue in North Hill. Over the next twenty years, I saw her and her children in New Jersey and back in Ohio. Sometimes, many years separated us; however, it was as if no time had passed upon meeting her again. She was always welcoming, hospitable, generous and fun-loving. She loved a good story, a good laugh and to be with her husband, children and grandchildren.
As said before, she lit the room with her spirit and kindness. Her children emulate this spirit as well, and no matter how time passes, warm hugs await me and welcome me upon meeting again.
I shall sorely miss her. She was a great listener. The last time we met, maybe three or so years ago, we sat together and she held my hand as we spoke about our lives. She knew how to be present to the people she loved. I loved her and so enjoyed her presence.
