Dear Jean and Benson family,
I am so sorry to hear of Ray's passing, but thankful that we have a Savior who knows us, loves us and has prepared a place for us. Ray is in the presence of Jesus, and that gives us peace, even in loss. I am praying the "God of all comfort" will strengthen you in the coming days!

Dear Mrs. Benson and The Benson Family~ I am sending my love and thoughts to you all. As you can imagine, I feel like I can claim to be part of your "family" because you all made me feel that way as we set off on many a fabulous trip in your motor "home". I can still vividly picture Mr. Benson behind the wheel, eating a yummy sandwich Mrs. Benson prepared for him, putting up with Brenda and myself singing along to the Carpenters for the umpteenth time. He would drive early in the morning and late at night allowing us to sleep or leisurely enjoy the travel. It does not escape me at just how generous he was to include me in these family trips, but it was because he loved his daughter ~ he loved his family ~ and I hope he kind of loved me too. Much love and many memories ~ Julie

So praying for you as this weekend is Father's Day too but so happy for Ray that he is complete now & celebrating with our FATHER of all Fathers. So remember his love & care for all of us as we worked at Chapel Hill & your love too Jean. Love all of your family. Remember our one spring vacation when we were there at Fort Wilderness & how that is one of your favorite places. Praying for you all today. Love Margo Draa

Dear Benson Family,
Thanks to you all for your legacy of faithfulness and courage in the initiation of Christian education here in Summit County! And thank you for the thousands of lives touched by your influence.
We stand with you as you mourn the loss of Ray...always Mr. Benson to me. We remember him as a strong man in the faith for Christ.
We pray with you those great verses from II Corinthians 1:3-5 that "the God of all comfort" would be your portion. And then similarly to what you began 52 years ago, we pray that as "you wait on Him, your strength would be renewed, so that you might soar high on eagles wings" for His glory.
We love you all,
Rev. John Wilson
