Our condolences to you, John and the rest of your family members. We're sorry we were unable to attend Marji's memorial service. We were out of town, but thought of you and Marji's smiling face. Our house is your house, John; you are always welcome to come here to find comfort and peace. The beauty of the woods and river is the best we can offer. We wish we could do more.

So sorry to hear about Mrs O. She made the library a warm and inviting place for myself as a child and for so many after. It was a privilege to work alongside her in the old library building when I was a teenager years later. I'll never forget her beautiful smile.

I'll never forget Mrs.O and her welcome to me and my young children in 1985 when we moved to Hudson from Bexley, Ohio. She found a special book my son loved at his former story time , and made him so happy! My daughter and son enjoyed her warmth and love of books at story time... we and so many others will never forget you! Deepest sympathy to her husband and family.

My deepest condolences to Mrs. O's family. I volunteered with Mrs. O at the library when I was in middle school and then went on to work at the library in high school because I enjoyed my time with Mrs. O so much. I remember her as such a kind, caring, smart woman. I was a voracious reader, and Mrs. O encouraged and fostered my love of reading. I am sure she had a positive impact on thousands of Hudson children throughout the years. I (and all of us) were lucky to have her in our lives.

I was deciding to become a Librarian when I met Margie. I worked on Sundays at the Hudson Library while at Library school. She was a wonderful Librarian. She inspired everyone to be the best they could be. I really learned about service from her. But best of all, being in the library With Margie was fun. I learned that from her and carried it forward throughout my career in libraries. What an honor it was to work with her and to know her. Margaret (Peggy) Beecher Maurer.

In loving memory of my "sister" and friend. Marjie was a beautiful person, both inside and out, whose heart was as wide as the sky. She left her imprint on everyone who was lucky enough to know her, and her lovely smile, infectious laughter, and joyous zest for life. She loved being a children's librarian, and was loved by all the kids whose lives she touched. Most of all, though, she loved her husband John, all her brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews, and her late parents. Marjie was the sweetest, most caring person I have ever known. I was so fortunate to permanently have her in my life, thanks to her brother and my sister. We shared two nieces and two great-nephews, and so much more. I will always remember the kindness and pure goodness in her heart. She was a truly special woman. I will miss her, and the notes and pictures she used to send, She will live in my heart with love and when I think of her it will always be with a smile. My sincere condolences on this horrendous loss to you, John, and the entire Grissom Family. Look to the night sky and she will be there shining brightly, just as she did on earth, and she will be watching over each of us just as she always has.
My love and hugs to all of you.

Condolences to the Grissom Family - I didn't know Marjie, perhaps met her at Don and Marilyn's wedding - it is small comfort but I believe that No One Has Ever Died Or Has Ever Been Born, Save In The Passionate Embrace Of God's Love.

Deepest regrets to the family. Mrs. O was a treasure to the Hudson Community as she shared her love of literature and story telling in every child and adult that walked through the library. Hudson community members and the schools were so lucky to have her helping "our" children. I know that my sons benefited from her knowledge and shared love for reading. My deepest condolences. Margie was one of the world's most special people. I met her years ago, when we first moved to Hudson. I always took my son to Mrs. O's story times. He adored her. Then, as the years went by, and I returned to teaching, Margie was always there for me when I needed reference books, or just to talk. We have lost a shining star, but she will always be there when we look up...I bet she has a book in her hand.

I am so sorry to hear. My condolences to your whole family.
Marjie was our favorite babysitter when I was a kid (late 1960s). My brothers and I thought she was awesome. Always such fun and so kind to us all. I loved books, and so I was also a frequent visitor to the peace and quiet of the library. Marjie was always so sweet and gentle to the shy kid that I was, as I perused the shelves for more mystery stories or books on horses.
Marjie was one of those who taught me that kindness is a strength. My whole family loved her. I'm sure she will be much missed by so many who loved her.
Will keep you all in prayer.

I first got to know Marjie when she participated in the Stan Hywet Saturday story times years ago. She was a wonderful storyteller and so much fun to work with! I saw her at meetings over the years and always enjoyed her ideas. After she retired, she sent out holiday cards to librarians of her acquaintance and would include a large Hershey Bar with it. Yum! She was so thoughtful. In recent years, I've run into Marjie and John at stores and always enjoyed getting caught up. Marjie mentored many and befriended many more. She will truly be missed.
