Blake: I'm adding my sad condolences at Kathy's loss. The things that count are the memories you made and the people she touched - which seem to number quite a few. Thinking of you, old friend...

Dear Blake and Family, Jeanie and I were shocked at Kathy's sudden passing. I have so many great memories of us growing up together in Stow. Kathy was so beautiful and vivacious. Blake had the envy of all of us guys when he won her love-a love that endured over so many years. We remember fondly your visit to San Diego a few years ago and the laughs we shared.
We're so sad for your loss and wish we could be there to share in the celebration of Kathy's life. We'll talk soon.
Steve and Jeanie

To the family of my dear friend Kathy. For over 40 years I treasured Kathy's friendship. Many a good times on "girls" vacations, lunches, shopping. Experiencing school activities with our children. So many wonderful memories.
She will be missed.

I’m so sorry as I’m sure you know Blake how special Kathy was to me. It was the little things in life that made her happy she wasn’t hero and I sent her a text telling her that in February. I will miss her terribly. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear that Kathy has left us, and so suddenly. Kathy and I share 72 years of friendship, pure and simple friendship. We spent the night at one another’s houses, we slept outside in a tent in the summer time, of course we roamed the neighborhood until the wee hours of the morning(nobody said that we had to sleep.) She cut my hair (ONLY ONCE), We walked home from school, walked down to Ben Franklin for school supplies, always stopped at Eddy’s for a cold coke and candy bar for the walk home.We were 3 months apart in age, we were like sisters. I love you Kathleen Ann Brehm(Hutchinson). I will miss you forever. Soar with the Angels, till we meet again.

It's just so hard to believe Kathy is gone. She was always so full of life; on the go, whether taking care of Jordy, or making plans with Blake, or golfing with her girls. That's why I always treasured those days she could carve out time to just visit and catch up. Kathy had a gift for making the most matter-of-fact observations that made you say, "Now why didn't I think of that?" I marveled at her total devotion as a Grandmother, and adored every moment we spent on double-dates with our husbands before we had to leave to spend time with our "real friends." My heart aches for all who loved her. God bless and comfort all of you.
