Karen and Kim, I was saddened to read of the passing of your mother. I have fond memories of her and you girls from our growing up years together on Austin Ave and later years when both of our families moved in separate directions. Your family to Cuyahoga Falls and mine to Green. We always had fun times together and Lou was always so warm, funny and welcoming. I loved the way she allowed freedom of expression in your home. Mom went home to be with the Lord and Daddy in September of 2004. She was 71 years old. May your memories of both your parents be ever close in mind as you begin this chapter of your lives without her.
Love and Prayers,
Chris Kerns Chappuis

What a gracious lady! Truly always the definition unconditional grace. She made people feel immediately comfortable and accepted in her presence. I have a very vivid memory of the honor and respect she showed to her mother and father when they all attended church. Lou's Dad was the first man I ever saw raise his hand when he was blessed in a church service. One knew God was saying something special when Harold's hand went up. Lou was always so loving and attentive to them. She made sure "us kids" knew we were special as well and spoke to us by name. And what a blessing Glenn and Lou were to the foundation of Chapel Hill Christian School and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy and to those of us that were boys and girls those 55 years ago! With gratitude, John and Laura Wilson

Karen, Kim and Bob, never did meet her but once my parents back in the 60s had a tenant we liked by the name Louella. Over the years, I have come to observe it is an uncommon name. I'm sure your Louella was an uncommon person as well. Vince Falcone

Sadie and I will forever remember Lou as a dear and precious friend. Her big and generous heart will be greatly missed. What we think we will miss most was her infectious laughter and her love of Southern Gospel Music. We will miss you, Lou but we know you "Wouldn't Take Nothing For Your Journey Now"!

I will always cherish the friendship we had and the times we spent together laughing and talking. Lou was such a breath of life I always look forward to seeing her . She will be missed but knowing that she has made her final journey home it’s worth it.
