Obituary of Louella M. Meadows
Lou Meadows made her journey home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, February 5, 2021. She was a lifetime resident of the Akron area.
Lou’s most cherished role in life was that of being devoted to her family, at which she excelled to the highest degree. The way she enjoyed expressing her love to friends and family was her endless passion for sending cards. She was a great prayer warrior who prayed daily for those who were ever a part of her life. She was known for her happy, infectious spirit and her love of laughter to all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Glenn Meadows. Their marriage was a living example of respect and true love. Also passing before her were her parents Harold and Louella Nelson.
She will be dearly missed by her family: daughters Karen Lumpp and Kim Arnold and their husbands, Tim Lumpp and Bob Arnold; brother David Nelson; grandson Craig (Angeline) Lumpp and great granddaughter Avery; and grandson Keith Lumpp.
Burial has taken place and there will be no calling hours or in-person service. There will be a livestream memorial on Saturday, Feb. 20th at 1:00 PM that may be seen on Redmon Funeral Home's Facebook page (facebook.com/Redmonfuneralhome).
Karen and Kim would like to send a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Danbury in Tallmadge for the sincere love and support that was shown to our mom. Redmon Funeral Home has been such a blessing in handling so many details for us.
