I too was sorry to read of Jack's passing. My boyfriend Gary and I wondered why we hadn't been able to reach him and I looked online and saw our good friend had passed. We were in shock. I'm sorry I missed the showing. Jack was one of the best friends we could have ever asked for. We are missing our dear friend. My condolences to Seth and Brandon. You're dad was one in a million. Love yah buddy! I'll never forget the good times we had. Especially at Bash.

Dear Trish, Mike, Tom, Brandon & Seth and the rest of the extended family,
I was so sorry to hear of Jack's passing far too early.....my condolences to you all!
I met Jack thru Tom when Brandon & Seth were basically babies.....over 40+ years ago.! They were living over near Studio City.
From that first meeting, I knew Jack was a very unique guy who knew how to have a good time. Over the years we spent time on the Penthouse and Azar Landscaping softball team together.....Jack was a good hitter (not as good at baserunning!) but he was a much better pitcher for our teams....he loved and knew the game for sure. We had alot of fun at the softball parties at the "Fun House" which was basically a lightened up version of Animal House.....one of the guys on our team hosted and he had a nice home on the lake with pool table , ping pong etc & always plenty of liquid libations! Good thing Michele was around to keep him in check!
We also use to play racquetball together at Armstrongs gym and racquet club.......for a big guy, Jack really could move around well and was a very good player with a deadly kill shot! Then we would head over to Bogeys for beer and some conversation.....
I always enjoyed talking about sports, cars (mostly Ford) & his time in Vietnam with him as he was very well versed on all of those things.....
I also have fond memories of the bocce ball tournaments at the Slopek's with the relatives from PA .....Jack loved the competition......those were some very fun memories for me........I miss those days sometimes.......
I'm sure he'll be missed by the family & his friends..........especially the grandkids....... but I'm sure he & Michele will be happy to be together again in the afterlife....I know he had some tough times especially after Michele's passing but I pray that he's at peace & in a better place today!
Love you all and may God Bless!

My condolences to Tom and Patty at the loss of your brother Jack.
Jack will always be missed by all of us in the Lincoln School neighborhood who grew up with Jack and played baseball with him. We witnessed many of his majestic homeruns at Lincoln field. Jack was the only batter that could hit towering shots into the tall trees beyond leftfield. The leaves floating down to the ground let all of us know that the baseball had been crushed again.
.Jack even had professional looking moves in the batters box before a pitch was made that I cannot share here. Let's just say some major league players did the same thing when they got up to bat. I always thought God let Jack hit the ball so far then because he wasn't blessed with great foot speed.
I miss Jack and hope to play baseball with him again.

Remembering playing wiggle ball in the basement of Patsy and Jukes house in the Falls when we were kids. Jack was the hitter, batting left handed, the announcer as he did the play by play, and the crowd, as he gave a reaction to the action. Fond memories. Rest In Peace.
