I didn't get a chance to officially send my deepest condolences to the Yoxthimer family. Jim was a very special person to me, especially during my senior year at Stow till our early twenties. I loved him and all of his family and carried them in my heart over the years. We reconnected about 8 years ago, so it was nice to keep in touch and go over old times. I am very sad and grieve along side the family. I pray the Lord gives an extra measure of comfort for Rose, Ginger, Bill, and all of the family. I also pray that the family will be reminded that God is good, faithful and promises we will see our loved ones who are in Christ, very soon. May each of you hold on to that and may it carry you through.

Dear Yoxthimer Family,
Despite living in northeast Ohio most of my adult life I failed to stay in touch with Jim as much as I should have. In high school we were really great friends, goofing, laughing, hooping and spring breaking. I'll never forget the fun we had down in Ft. Lauderdale. Jim was one of the nicest people I ever met. I just didn't know it at the time.
God Bless and Stay Strong For Each Other

I want to express my heartfelt sympathies to the entire Yoxthimer family. I am sorry I have not spoken to Jim in decades. I cannot remember all the details of our conversations in the past but I do remember laughing until I cried.
Jim was one of the smartest men I’ve had the privilege to meet. Aristotle said “Wit is educated insolence.” By this definition Jim‘s genius was experienced by all those who knew him.
God bless you Jim and may you Rest In Peace.

I am truly sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I think back on our childhood growing up on South River Road, and all the good times we had playing neighborhood ball games, sled riding on the hill in their yard, eating the grapes when we were not supposed to, and running around across the street in the woods. I am glad to have known him and spent time with him. I remember when we were camp counselors for Riverview Elementary school, and Jim would go out at night and make wild noises, scaring the other counselors. I am sorry that I could not make it there on Sunday, but please know all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely, Craig Feldman

Yoxthimer family and friends may God grant all of you with a speedy healing. I grew up in Munroe Falls and went to school with your kids. Such a wonderful family.

My deepest condolences to all the family. Jim (Yox Man) was truly one of the Good Guys. I would see Jim almost everyday back at Kimpton And Stow High and he was always such the character and always had a smile on his face. I always told him he should be a pro Basketball player like Larry Byrd. I was really hoping he would have made it to our 40th Class reunion this time. He was a good friend buck in th day and I'm sure he was always a good friend to anyone he knew. That was how Jim was. Time and life separated us but the friendship bond and memories never go away. Prayers to all the family again.

My heartfelt condolences go out to James and his family as I'm sure he will be missed. What a great guy and what a great friend. So many times I wanted to pick up the phone and call but didn't, just to say hello and get a laugh, always thinking I will do it next week. Wow, what a missed opportunity that cannot be replaced, just like Jim. God bless and I'm sorry I hit you in the nose in the 4th grade.
