Obituary of Deborah Ann Pittak
TALLMADGE - Deborah Ann Pittak, 69, died April 25, 2021.
She was a life-long resident of northeast Ohio. She led an extraordinary life that included being a U.S. Army-WAC veteran, teacher, counselor, ninth degree blackbelt in Issinryu Karate, and member of the Dragon Dream Team. She trained hundreds of students as Sensei at Pittak’s Issinryu Karate Center and improved countless lives. Of all her accomplishments, she considered raising her daughters to be her greatest.
Preceded in death by mother, Alroberta Karam, she is survived by daughters; Lauren (Christopher Shumski) Pittak, Nicole Pittak; other family, Marcia Wallenfeldt, Kaitlyn Rinearson, Allyson Ostetrico, Erin Michel and five siblings, including Chet Rogal.
Family and friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road in Stow. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11:30 AM at Holy Family Parish, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, OH 44224.
