Sandra Dodovich

Obituary of Sandra Lucia Dodovich

In hope of the Resurrection, Sandra L. (DiSalvo) Dodovich, 68, passed away January 4, 2022. Sandi was born September 27, 1953, in Akron. She was the daughter of the late Angeline (Edward) Tulley and Vincent DiSalvo. She worked for Burger Iron Steel Company for thirty-seven years after graduating from Garfield High School in 1971. She worked her way up to Inside Sales and Office Manager. Her joys in life were her family, especially her two sons, and her dog, Rocky. She was a true Cleveland Indians fan, loved playing cards, especially euchre, and cooking with her family on holidays. Don't let her high heels fool you. She was 5' 1 1/8", but her love and generosity stood ten feet tall. She is survived by her two sons, Tony and Todd, and their father, Jim, her devoted caretaker and loving sister, Kathy (Larry) Conti, her brothers, Vince (Tami) and Dave (Karin) DiSalvo, step-sister, Sandra (Ed) Scheibelhood, and many special nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Carington Park Nursing Home in Ashtabula and Bella Care Hospice. Their compassionate care for Sandi and her family is truly appreciated. Visitation will be at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, on Tuesday, January 11th from 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, January 12th at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail, in Cuyahoga Falls at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
